Hard to argue with those three, but they are there a little by default. The list of vets that can't be included either because of injury or because they are only here because Leafs took on salary, is significant. Nylander is probably going to show significant improvement but his playoff performance in the AHL was substandard. Serious trimming of extra parts is still in the works. If they hang on JVR - I would expect a big year from him.

That my friend was a good read!pretty spot on in avaluation, one more year of "pain"but treading in the right direction! .I'm hoping that they play the vets,so they can have value at the tdl.and get some more picks or prospects ,then after the expansion draft, with the cap money, spending it on the right players and hopefully a trade for a top four dman!
